Sydney - Olympic Park

Sydney Olympic Park is located at Homebush Bay, about 14 km west of the town business centre. Olympic Park in Sydney host in the year 2000 the 27th Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Visitors can buy a ticket for a guided tour to access venues or follow a self-guided walk. For nature lovers, there is a special tour of the five wetlands of the Bicentennial Park.
At the park are held many events each year, including Rugby Union, Sydney Royal Easter Show, Australian Rugby League games at ANZ Stadium, Australian Football League, swimming, athletics events and many other. It also hosts the Big Day Out music festival, Sydney Festival and Sydney Royal Easter Show.
