Samui Airport is one of the most beautiful airports. It is located at the northern part of the island near Bo Phut Beach. The construction began in the year 1982 and it was officially opened in April 1989. Samui Airport is operated and privately owned by Bangkok Airways. Thai Airways international began flights to Samui in February 2008. Samui Airport is designed in tune with its gorgeous natural surroundings.
